When I first saw the name I remembered the original &quot;Web Matrix&quot; (with a space) from back in about 2002 or so, which was the predecessor to Visual Web Developer. Not sure why Microsoft decided to recycle an old name, but &quot;WebMatrix&quot; is a new product, and although still in Beta it is quite an interesting tool.</description>
